We assist owner-builders through the preliminary stages, including producing:

site investigation reports including overlays;

Working Drawings;

energy assessments and engineering documents and certifications;

build tender documents, including build estimates, scope of works and specifications.​

Raised or Slab Options
Depending on your requirements and soil classification, we ofer both slab and raised options. Typically, raised floor designs are preferred where:

owner-builders are installing their own frames;
-
the slope across the home exceeds 1.5-2m and blockwork or retaining walls are required;
-
soil types are H, E or P classification;
-
the block is in a rural area, or more than 30 mins from concrete suppliers;
-
views are to be maximised.

Owner Builder Project Management
For owner-builders, we provide everything you need to run your build like a professional building company. We assist you through your journey with regular phone meetings, and access to our project management software allowing you to track actual costs to estimates, track orders and bookings, document register and detailed checklists for inspections and certifications. ​​​​​​​​

Build Tender
Engaging independent builders is a great way to save costs. By engaging independent builders, you save on corporate overheads and franchise fees. However, independent builders usually don't have the time or resources to manage the design stage. For owner-builders project managing with a licensed builder to assist, we supply all documents needed for approvals. Builders will be more responsive and start your home sooner when you provide everything ready to start.
